I got confirmation yesterday that my random act of kindness was delivered and all went well. I have a relative that is in the reality biz and houses where he lives are either not selling or the sales are falling through for some reason, therefore no sales means no money. They have a little one that they have to care fore and so with that I just had to do something. So I did some investigating since they live out of state. I found 2 stores that offer both foods and clothes . . . with how fast kids grow I thought these stores would be a good way to go. It wasn't much and they said that it would hold them over till a house that is just about to sell in about a month. So I am happy about this.

I have been and planning some other small acts of kindness. Jim is a HVAC guy and he is getting those calls now that my furnis is not working right for the first time of the season. One of which is a relative whos wife has some physical limitations. I sent Jim out there with a jar of home made apple sauce and pear sauce. Next week I will be making some taco fixins for a family. Its a single mom of a teen whose sister and hubby has little money and lots of health issues that bills are coming in. I LOVE doing this.

I went into a local Target store at the beginning of the week and asked them if they would be willing to donate somethings for my trip to the Ronald McDonald House next month. The manager on duty that day said that they, at store level, can not help but gave me a 1-800 phone number to call and maybe Target at corp. level will be able to help more. I will be giving them a call maybe either later today or on Monday. I may even see if WalMart will help out or maybe even a local food store like Aldi, Jewel or Woodmans. I am open to any other ideas too. I want to do alot. The McDonald House not only helped out with us and my daughter but they have come in handy when my Hubby was in the hostpital for his colon removal and my niece with a fire work accident. Its a wonderful thing and its so nice. I have to do something since I know I will be needing them in the future for my kids. My dentist office is going to be talking to Crest to see if they would be willing to give childrens tooth paste and brushes and such. I am so very happy.
