We don't have any absolute answers as to whats going on with Aj but we do have some ideas and thoughts. The doctor things is more on the lines of a turrets type of thing and not seizures  He told us that if he were to get 100 people together and have them do an EEG, 5% of them will be abnormal with seizure like activities and not have them, just something weird in the wiring of their brain. Since Aj fell asleep its not an accurate reading and wants us to do a 48 hr EEG. With the hopes that he will have a spaz or two and not have it sleep deprived and therefore will give us harder evidence of if it is or isn't seizures. If we can hear/see the conversation his brain is having during these we will know which way it is. The doctor also said that children with turrets will very often out grow it between the ages of 8 - 10. Fingers crosses he will.

In calling folks about this new news, we've gotten the feeling that people think we are taking this way to far and that he should just let Aj be Aj and let all of this alone. Our thought to that is, we would rather pay lots of doctors bills than to just let something slide and miss something and then have to pay for a funeral cause we just left it alone and let Aj be Aj. God gave us children and one of those responsibilities is to make sure they are and stay as healthy as possible. When you are dealt with the possibilities of certain health issues to start off with you can not take anything and just let is slide so you don't have lots of doctors bills. That is what happened with Jim's birth Mom. This Grandma let it alone and let life go and didn't get her daughter checked out with doctors and now she is in heaven looking down on us. As long as I am a Mom I will take my kids to the doctor for things and get them checked out. Now if its just a cold or allergies or something I know for sure and I can take care of it myself, by george I am. But if my kid is concerned about something that I have let slide I am going to get it checked out. My child, my responsibility. I would rather them be poked and probed and tested every other month than 6 ft under.
